Hello,
My book has been out in the world just a few weeks, and the feedback has been so lovely and heart warming. I was overwhelmed by the support at the book’s launch party on November 1st. Over 70 people were there! In addition to the reading and books sales/signing, a side room was dedicated to art sales–my own as well as that of my daughter and of five other artists on the autism spectrum. My writing coach/cheerleader/editor Dawn Leas was there from Pennsylvania and did the nicest introduction before my reading as well as a Q and A afterwards. I was a bit nervous (understatement) in the days leading up to the event, but I can’t think of a single thing that would have made it better. I’m blessed with wonderful friends and family and readers (like you!) and I’m so very grateful to those who have purchased the book, some of whom have also left nice reviews on Amazon and Good Reads.
Today I’m sharing a quick video of myself reading “Unbroken”, one of the poems featured in Little Pockets of Glow.
